D.A. Williams
Darryl Arnez (D.A.) Williams, son of pioneer radio personality Kae Williams and Viola Williams was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa. After entering the U.S. Air force, he was stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Fairborn, OH. Upon serving his enlistment, he remained in Dayton where he married, raised his children, and became actively involved in ministry.
He attended Wright State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. He also enrolled at Walden University, where he studied leadership development before transferring to United Theological Seminary where he is working on his Masters of Divinity.
Pastor Williams journey with God began at the age of 12 when his mother passed away. He recalls praying to God these words, “God I do not know who you are but I believe that you exist. My prayer is that before I die, you reveal yourself to me.” From that moment on, Pastor Williams traces the grace of God leading him to a saving faith in Jesus.
While serving 20 years in an independent Charismatic congregation, he explored the movements of God in American history. Sensing the desire of God to re-ignite the flame of revival and restoration, he became a member of the United Methodist Movement. His emphasis upon practical applications of the scriptures appeals to people across denominational lines. Blending theological thought, humor, and biblical story telling, Pastor Williams is committed to “making disciples of Jesus for the transformation of the world.”
He is married to his wonderful wife Debra and together they have 5 children and 9 grandchildren.
Pastor Williams believes that we are living on the brink of another great movement of God and firmly believes what the Apostle Paul wrote “God wants to make known to all the glorious riches of the mystery among the nations, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Col. 1:27)
